Sounds of the Rockies is an elite mobile entertainment company that was started twelve years ago. The founder had been a part of the industry for many years, but decided he needed to raise the bar. The only way he could achieve this was by making a full-time, customer service oriented company, along with performing each event in a tasteful and professional manner. He recruited the best, most experienced DJs in the industry to begin the venture that we know as Sounds of Rockies. Twelve years later, Sounds of the Rockies has become the most requested wedding DJ service in Colorado. We continue to learn more about the needs of each of our clients and practice higher standards of customer service so that we may give each client, such as your self, the best experience possible. Sounds of the Rockies prides itself on making each event a great success. Making sure all guests enjoy what you have planned for them.

Management Staff

Don Kennedy :  The founder and owner of Sounds of the Rockies Entertainment Group. A trueley business savie individual Don cares about the quality of product and service his employees provide. He started Sounds of the Rockies with personal customer service in mind, and even though the buisness has grown, he continues to hold the same motto and value true to each employee so that every event is perfect.

Michelle Kennedy : Our customer Service, sales and marketing coordinator. She is 100% dedicated to the satisfaction of all customers. No other company has a person completely dedicated to customer service like Sounds of the Rockies does with Michelle

Joshua Gallatin :    The General Manager of Sounds of the Rockies Entertainment Group. Josh has played at 1,000 of weddings, schools, corporate parties, private parties, and nightclubs. He is highly minded on coordenating the specifics of every event. He has a great personality and is very knowledgable about all aspects of the company. If Josh doesn't know the answer he will figure it out because no one else probably knows. Josh has also been an announcer and M.C. for national sporting events, and benefits.

Sean Okland :   Our office manager in charge of orginization and continued customer support. Sean has been an entertainer for Sounds of the Rockies for many years. Sean left his full time job as a grocery store manager to pursue a full time career with Sounds of the Rockies and has done a brilliant job since arriving. Sean attended the University of Northern Colorado and Graduated with a B.A. in the spring of 2001. Sean is an ample part of the Sounds of the Rockies crew.

Steven King :   Yes his real name. Steven is our equipment manager in charge of the upkeep and installation of all of our equipment. Steven is also one of our many entertainers working with Sounds of the Rockies for the love of the job. 

Entertainment Staff

Jeff Anderson: Known as DJ Jeffro. Jeff is a highly experinced wedding DJ focused on perfoming every wedding perfectly. Jeff has a vast music knowledge that amazes even the best of us. With over 20 years of experience as a mobile entertainer, he is a valuable asset to the Sounds of the Rockies Staff.

Ben Todd: Has a passion for DJing. Ben started locally and has become a valuable asset to the Sounds of the Rockies family. A great wedding DJ and an even better school DJ. Ben is quite personable and gret for people with a more laid back style.

Matt Huntington: A well diversed DJ with experience in Colorado and Las Vegas. Matt has done many weddings and other events for us in which he has received great reviews.

Mike Burch: Mike worked many years for another DJ company doing all kinds of events. He took some time off and decided he wanted to come back to DJing  but with a more organized company. He joined ourcrew right away and has fit in perfectly. We have had nothing but compliments about Mike's performances.

Nicole Fischer: After moving from Grand Junction to the Northern Colorado Area she joined us as one of our highly requested DJs. With experience to do any event she is a valuable DJ for any client

Trenton Andrerson: Trenton is a fun loving DJ who likes to rock a party better than anyone. Trenton doesn't do weddings but is highly regarded for private functions and school dances. Before joining Sounds of the Rockies Trenton DJed in the Houston Area.

Brad Krauss : Moved to Colorado a few years ago after owning his own entertainment company in Michigan. When he got here he decided he'd rather work with us than start his business. Brad is a very experienced DJ great for all events.

Mark Weineke : Mark was the kid who would help the owner set up and run events at a local high school he used to attend. Many years later, Mark has turned into a valuable DJ which we couldn't replace. He has a passion for making all of his events perfect, exciting, and fun.

Alex Defilce : Our Canadian born DJ. Alex has been a great part of Sounds of the Rockies for a couple of years now and continues to bring back outstanding reviews.
